Cocktails Anyone?

9 months.  That is how long it took me to get this project done, take a photo, and write about it.  Speedy!

I’ve always wanted a bar cart.  Everyone needs some cocktails on wheels. I’ve looked on eBay and First Dibs only to be turned away due to price.

While perusing my local Goodwill store, I came across this 1980’s microwave cart and instantly thought of a little bar cart that could.  $20!

Before:

Veneer with weird cross-hatch pattern on the side.

But the wheels… I love the wheels!

After: primed, painted, and two handles attached:

Still love the wheels!

Aside from being great all over, the drawer-pull/towel rack handles are absolute genius. You go!

told me a while bahtck,at Kings Cross rail station was a place where prozzies were picked up, a wall was where boys would stand to be picked up, many boys in the uniform of rolled up jeans bald heads and boots hung about there, rail station staff would watch what went on and any underage boys were asked if they had a ticket so they had an excuse to throw them out.Sir Anthony Blunt was a regularas were actors Dirk Bogarde and Peter Arne, peter would get agressive when told to leave the boys alone

Wonderful job but I think it would have been a little more swish and a little more Mad Men if the cross-hatching on the side was left and painted.

  9. This turned out beautifully! I love the wheels too.

Barkat was playing into the hands of right-wing Jewish settlers, who are increasing their influence in East Jerusalem. “He is doing the bidding of extreme se1#ters,&l822t; Seidemann said. “These are partial demolitions and replacing Palestinian families in order to allow for a construction of a settler-inspired pseudo-Biblical park. He is making genuine public needs subservient to the ideology of the settlers.”

Very pretty. Only, how did you prep the laminate surface for paint? I’d be afraid it’d chip off rather quickly in a dry winter home with the heat on full blast all the time.
